Having someone from the place who can stay on your side during all the tour and explain local traditions is invaluable. Moreover, every local guide we met at the various sites was competent, professional, and kind, turning each visit into a memorable experience. In summary, the quality of services provided was excellent in every aspect: organization, assistance, accommodations, activities and human approach. Thanks to this agency our trip to Sri Lanka was not just a holiday, but a deep and authentic immersion into their culture and especially we had the opportunity to meet lot of Srilankan peolple, so nice, smiling and always welcoming people! "My friend and I booked through traviceylon from Australia. We had never heard of traviceylon and was not sure what to expect. Our booking agent was camaron and our driver was udara. From start to finish of the trip we were absolutely blown away by their professionalism, engagement, and desire for us to have an amazing trip. In every category, they exceeded our expectations. We loved every bit of our 11 day trip to Sri Lanka. Our safari guides were determined to give us the best experience, and we saw a leopard, baby elephant with mama and lots of other amazing wild life.we went on 3 different safaris during our trip. On the other side of our trip, we saw whales, dolphins and turtles! Our driver,udara, was absolutely incredible. He prepared our every adventure with precision: notifying the guides and venues prior to arrivals to ensure we maximised our time there, ensuing hotels were accommodating to our required flexibility, and offering a wealth of local knowledge. His sense of humour, easy going nature, ability to pivot when needed, professionalism and kind heart made our trip a 10 out of 10! Everywhere we went, the locals knew and loved udara. We felt like we were traveling with a celebrity because he was so well received and liked throughout all of Sri Lanka. We knew we were in good hands. We will be going back to visit other parts of Sri Lanka that we didn’t have time for and other areas we want to spend more time… without a doubt, udara will be the only driver we will go on our next adventure with! We highly recommend traviceylon, udara and camaron. Tips: be specific in your hotel location requirements and all that you want to see, and they will create your dream holiday to remember for a lifetime. Example: location next to city, A/C, star ranking of hotel, etc. Itinerary: be specific on experiences you want and don’t want ( we did not want to see all the museums and so those were removed based on our own requirements) Packing: pack light- you will shop along the way for great clothing to wear to the temples and during the journey. Also, dress is mostly casual so no need for fancy attire. Holidays: know ahead of time if you’re going on a Sri Lanka holiday. We went during their New Year- which we loved as it was a unique and special experience for us and the locals….itinerary may be adjusted during holidays. Thank you udara and traviceylon Team!
